DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT

You can delete your ROARi account at any time. Here is how to do it, and exactly what happens to your data when you do.

In the app

Open ROARi and go to Settings → Delete account. Confirm, and your account is closed. This is the fastest route and the one we recommend.

If you no longer have the app

Email hello@roari.co.uk from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm it is you before we act.

What is deleted

Your profile and email address, your stamp progress, your ROARDs and leaderboard position, your reward claim history, your in-app notifications and your push notification tokens.

What we keep, and why

We keep very little. Your stamp and reward history is removed along with your account, which means the businesses you visited no longer see it either. If your account was banned, we keep a record of your email address so that the ban cannot be undone by deleting the account and signing up again.

If you held a business subscription, Stripe holds its own payment and invoice records. We do not control those, and UK tax law requires such records to be kept for six years.

How long it takes

Deleting in the app takes effect immediately. Email requests are completed within 30 days, as required under UK GDPR. Deletion is permanent — stamps, ROARDs and rewards cannot be restored or transferred afterwards.
