BUSINESS TERMS

These Business Terms govern the listing of your business on the ROARi platform and your subscription to ROARi's business services. The service is provided by ROARI APP LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17308076), based in York, UK. By creating a business account or subscribing, you agree to these Terms on behalf of the business you represent. These Terms are a business-to-business agreement — you confirm you are acting in the course of business, not as a consumer.

Your account and listing

One email address operates one account and one business listing. You must provide accurate business information (name, address, opening details, photos) and keep it up to date. New listings are subject to approval by ROARi, and we may decline or remove a listing at our reasonable discretion — ROARi is a curated platform for independent businesses.

Free trial

New business accounts receive a 30-day free trial. No payment card is required to start. If no payment method is added by the end of your trial, your listing is paused automatically — nothing is charged and no debt accrues. Add a payment method at any time to go (or stay) live.

Plans and pricing

Two subscription plans are available: Standard (£19.99 per month) and Premium (£29.99 per month). Current plan features and limits (stamp cards, showcase photos, monthly flash-offer allowances and durations, insights level, verified badge) are set out on our pricing page and in the app, and form part of these Terms. We may change prices or plan features with at least 30 days' notice by email or in-app notification; changes take effect from your next billing period after the notice period ends.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. If a payment fails, we will retry and notify you; if it remains unpaid, your listing is paused until payment is made. You can view invoices and update your payment details at any time through the billing portal in the app.

Changing plans

You can upgrade or downgrade at any time in the app. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect immediately with Premium-only features removed straight away. Plan changes are prorated automatically — unused time on your old plan is credited against your next bill, and you are never charged twice for the same period.

Cancellation and closing your business

You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period, and your listing remains live until then. Because this is a business-to-business monthly service, we do not refund partial months — your service simply continues until the end of the period you have paid for.

You can also close your business listing (or delete your business account entirely) in the app at any time. Closing your listing removes it from the platform; customers' stamp cards for your business stop being shown shortly afterwards.

Stamps, rewards and your obligations to customers

Stamp cards, rewards, ROARDs and flash offers you create are offers made by your business to customers. You are responsible for honouring valid stamps and completed-card rewards presented at your premises, and for the cost of the rewards you choose to offer. You agree not to manufacture, manipulate or refuse legitimate stamps, and to keep your counter and staff terminal screens reasonably secure and used only by you and your staff.

Set rewards you are genuinely willing to honour. Persistent failure to honour rewards, or manipulation of the stamp system, is a breach of these Terms and grounds for suspension or removal.

Flash offers

Flash offers are subject to your plan's monthly allowance and maximum duration. Offers must be genuine, lawful, accurately described, and honoured for their stated duration. We may remove any offer that we reasonably consider misleading, unlawful or harmful to the platform.

Customer data and insights

ROARi provides you with aggregated insights about activity at your business (stamps, visits, trends, busy periods). We do not provide you with customers' personal data. ROARI APP LTD is the data controller for personal data processed in the app, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

You grant ROARi a non-exclusive licence to display your business name, logo, photos and offer content within the app, on the website, and in reasonable promotion of the platform. You confirm you have the rights to the content you upload. All ROARi branding, software and platform IP remains the property of ROARI APP LTD.

Suspension and termination by us

We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, unlawful activity, abuse of the stamp system, non-payment, or conduct harmful to customers or the platform. Where practical we will warn you first. If we permanently withdraw the ROARi service or remove your listing other than for breach, we will refund any prepaid period you cannot use.

Liability

ROARi is provided "as is". We do not guarantee any particular level of customer visits, stamps, or revenue. To the extent permitted by law, ROARI APP LTD is not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including loss of profits or goodwill), and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

General

We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be notified with at least 30 days' notice. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
